Where's Reg

Well, I don't usually watch hockey, but when the Canucks are winning, I am what you call, a bandwagon jumper. After the winning game, I went down to South Fraserway and wow, was it a party! Police everywhere and people moving in droves up and down the sidewalks as well as the street.
As I was there I was thinking, how great it would be if people got excited about Jesus in the same way they did about hockey. These hockey fans will bend over backwards to make it to the game, celebrate until the wee hours of the morning and then do the whole thing over again and again!
I am looking forward to the day, when people get excited about Jesus and have no shame to say it! I sense that God is going to doing this in Thailand and I am excited about some of the dreams and visions that have been shared from different leaders. One day, Jesus will be celebrated!

I have a little over two weeks left here in Abbotsford. It's crazy how fast it has come together in this last bit. I am so excited about what God has done and what He will do. I get really excited when I hear stories from Thailand about how God has taken a hold of people lives, and turned them around. I just heard about this one older lady from a coffee shop (down the road from the church where I worked at in Thailand), who had a granddaughter that somehow ended up in the hospital. After praying to her gods, nothing happened,she just got worse. So she turned to the missionaries and found that Jesus would answer her prayers. He answered her prayers as well as her mothers, and now the baby is doing much better. Jesus became very real to both of these women and now both these women are interested in the God who answered their prayers! The Jesus who brings us HOPE! God is working and Jesus is being proclaimed to the Nations! Keep praying, we serve a risen and alive God who wants everyone to know that He loves them soooooo much!

On Good Friday, my buddy Jon and I biked up Sumas Mountain. The biking part was mainly on the way down the mountain. It was a gorgeous day and warm. At the parking lot, there was a bunch of cars, but as we made our way up, we only passed a few people. Such a great place and yet hardly anyone was there. I took a bunch of pictures of that great day.

After the ride down Sumas Mountain, we stopped at this really neat lookout. While we were there, this train came through and stopped. After waiting for some time we decided to drive down to the tracks. Since the train was still there, I got Jon to stop so I could take a picture. It's not too often you can get a picture this close. After I took this picture of the train, the train did the same in return, and flashed me...

The Fraser River (our version of the Mekong River)On the way down, we checked out some of the logging that was taking place on the mountain. Most of the trees were smaller than 32 inches, I think they have some other plans in mind and I am sure it's not logging, so sad...
May the hope that Easter brings, the resurrection of Jesus Christ be your HOPE for the future, Happy Easter, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead..." (I Peter 1:3)

This last Sunday we had some pretty nice weather, but it was cool. So for the afternoon I went for a hike. I took my camera along and on the way took a few pictures of Spring here in the valley. The sun was shining and the snow was gone for me, at least for the next three years, wrong.
